Who is responsible
Cyber Analysis is an independent research website operated by Robert Murray as a UK sole trader. Robert Murray is responsible for the personal information described here.
Enquiries and their purpose
Enquiry links open your email service. You send the message there; the website does not submit or store an enquiry. Messages to hello@cyber-analysis.com are forwarded to an existing business inbox. An email may include your name, email address, organisation, message and any information you choose to attach. This information is used to respond, discuss scope and manage any resulting engagement. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Lawful basis
For ordinary business correspondence, the basis is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries and running the business, balanced against your rights. Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract with you, or to perform that contract, the contractual basis applies. Relevant records may also be kept where a legal obligation requires it. Sending an enquiry is not treated as consent to marketing.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the business relationship and deal with relevant legal or record-keeping obligations. The appropriate period depends on the correspondence and any engagement that follows; no fixed period is stated here. You can ask about the retention of your information.
Website services, cookies and measurement
The website is hosted through Lovable and loads fonts from Google Fonts. These services receive technical request information when your browser connects, including an IP address and browser information. Hosting services may use cookies for site operation and security; cookies named __dpl and __cf_bm were observed on the public site during the review. Page-view, visit-start and performance events to a same-domain Lovable events endpoint were observed in an earlier review; project visitor measurement has since been switched off, and later fresh-browser checks of the public site did not find those requests. That does not mean no cookies or technical processing occur, and this notice does not state that none are used. No Google Analytics integration was found and no advertising tracker or consent banner was observed in that review. The current website code adds no enquiry storage or analytics integration. These observations do not establish every hosting service's retention or processing arrangements.
Providers and international processing
Website hosting, font delivery, email forwarding and the business email service process information to provide their services. Provider systems may process information outside the UK. The precise email-provider arrangements, processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards are not specified here; contact Robert Murray for information relevant to your enquiry. No promise is made that all processing stays in the UK.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive portable information where applicable. These rights depend on the circumstances and may be subject to legal exceptions. You can raise a concern with Robert Murray or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
